What does running on Android 4.2 OS mean? You will be able to run Android apps directly on the head unit. The ability to connect wirelessly to a wi-fi hotspot or via USB would mean you pretty much have a phone as a head unit. Smartphone Display Mirroring
Another neat feature is PhoneLink. With PhoneLink, you can mirror your phone display to the head unit via a USB cable connection. With Android, it would mean a 2-way connection where you can control your phone forom the head unit touchscreen and vice versa. iPhone connection will only allow for a one way control meaning you will not have the ability to control your phone from the touchscreen.
